Maybe you’ve gotten really good at being who you’re supposed to be.
Following the rules. Taking care of everyone else. Trying harder. Being good. Keeping it together.
And maybe you’re tired.
You don’t have to hold it together anymore.
Therapy can be a place to stop performing and start figuring out what you actually need.
At Joyfully You Counseling, I help people understand themselves, trust themselves, and build lives that feel more like their own.

What I Offer:

Disordered Eating & Body Image
Food and your body shouldn’t have to take up this much brain space.
Whether you’re navigating disordered eating, body-image struggles, years of dieting, or feeling completely overwhelmed by a world that seems obsessed with shrinking, we can work toward more freedom, flexibility, and trust in your body.

Religious Trauma
You are allowed to ask the questions you were told not to ask.
Therapy can give you space to explore religious trauma, deconstruction, shame, grief, identity, boundaries, and what you actually believe—without me deciding what the answers should be.

Neurodivergent-Affirming Therapy
What if you stopped trying to be better at being someone else?
I work with ADHD, autism, AuDHD, Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), and other neurodivergent experiences from an affirming perspective. We’re not trying to make you more neurotypical. We’re figuring out how your brain works and how to build a life that works with it.

Coaching for Teens & Young Adults
Knowing what you’re supposed to do and actually being able to do the thing are two very different experiences.
I offer practical coaching and mentoring for teens and young adults around executive functioning, school, goals, relationships, self-advocacy, and increasing independence.

Workshops & Parent Education
Sometimes parents don’t need therapy. They need someone to explain what the hell they’re supposed to do next.
I offer practical, connection-focused education for parents and caregivers, including my autonomy-supportive approach to potty learning.
The goal isn’t perfect parenting or perfectly compliant kids. It’s more understanding, more connection, and more confidence in supporting the actual kid in front of you.
